NOTD! Green for Earth Day, my new Sigma brush and some random!

Nahh, I'm a liar! I didn't paint my nails green because of Earth Day. These pictures were taken some days ago, but since yesterday I had green on again, I decided to post them!
I bought this nail polish a couple of weeks ago for about 2€ or $2.8. Pretty good, right? And my opinion? For that money, it's really good! These photos were taken after two coats and I think it does a great job. At first, I painted my nails at night, and I thought it was a dark green. But the next day, I saw its true beauty! It was really shimmery, shiny and bright! I was staring at my nails all the time, haha! Take a look at the pics (ignore my awful nails and my even more awful hangnails!!)

Can you see the brightness of that one? I know, the last picture is kinda blurry, but I just want you to see the shiny part of it!

Secondly, I'd love to tell you that I became a Sigma affiliate! If you click on the pictures at the right sidebar, you can visit their official site and check out all the amazing products! And don't forget to use the code 66838 at the checkout!

Anyway, Sigma was kind enough to send me a Sigma brush through the affiliate program, the E25 travel size blending brush! I've only tried it once and I was really satisfied! Soft hair, great size, easy to work with! I haven't washed it yet so I will keep the proper review for later! Here are some pictures for now:

Oh, and something I always forgot

I want to thank so much the Born Pretty Store and Jessica for sending me the Hello Kitty nail stamping plate and Face Candy Couture for letting me order some eyeshadows samples! You can do it too! I will talk about it tomorrow!

And a BIG thank you to aaall my new followers! :D

How are you guys?
Everything good?
Have a great month and a fabulous weekend!

New dark gray nail polish!

Helloo, hello world, how are you all?
Things are kinda good here, minus the exams! I hate exams! Ahh, they only cause lack of sleeping (well, not always :P) and anxiety! -.-
This is why I stopped by a 1€ shop when going home after my last day's exams. And I only bought a dark gray nail polish that I looooved! I'm really into gray and brown polishes this season! I think they are both very pretty colours, match with everything, and you can wear them every day! [Yay for gray! Wow for brown!]
I'm sorry, I'm being silly, it's the studying!
Anyway, I bought this one for 1.50€, or $2-2.50 and I might wanted to buy the lighter gray nail polish, but I like this one too so far! Here are some pictures!

As you can see, the nail polish is by Beauty Line Cosmetics. I've been buying their nail polishes for many years, and I am totally satisfied! They are cheap, but they are great quality! You need two coats to get a full colour, but only one also works for me!
I also want to show you some of the eyeshadows I got, a face cream one friend makes and more! Just let me finish my exams, on 2/9! Can't wait!
What are your favourite colours for nails this season?
Hope you are all good!

NOTD and a quick review!

Hey guys, how are you all?
I'm totally fine, reading for my upcoming exams in a couple of months (Well, I know in Christmas I won't be reading that much), watching movies and talking about Gossip Girl all the time (Okay, I'm obsessed-Laughing is not allowed!!!).
So, I wanted something to bright up the cloudy and rainy weather and I found it! Erre Due Exclusive nail polish. I think it's really good, not too soft, not too bright. I know its colour is more approriate for summer, but when I'm at home, I enjoy painting my nails in every possible colour! Anyway, so I tried this on and I was amazed. I applied it so easily, it gives the colour after 2 coats (You can have it after one coat too, but I wanted it too be more bright), it dries fast.. It's really a perfect nail polish! You can find it many colours! I think they are about 6€ or $8, and they totally worth the money!
Also, on some nails I created some black-inspired from leopard pattern- prints and I think they are cute! I used a black nail polish that is used for nail painting!
And seeing the bright pink next to my gray jacket, it confirms my thought that gray and pink are so HOT!

Oh, and in case you don't know Erre Due, it's a greek band that has to do with make up! All of their products are great quality, and in their stores you can find from eyeshadows and eyeliners to nail polishes. You can check Erre Due *here! If you want to buy something and you can't find it in your country, you can contact me and find a way together! I have nothing to do with the company, I am just willing to help you!

So, are you today?
How did you spend Thanksgiving? It's a pity in my country we don't celebrate Thankgiving!
What are your plans for the weekend?
Take care sweeties,

NOTD, Gossip Girl and your help!

Salut mon amis, how have you been doing?
I'm currently trying to decide what to do with my nails! Yesterday I created something like this:

I know, they don't seem to be good in this picture, but in reality, they were adorable! I actually had a french manicure but instead of classic white, I used a gray nail polish that had glitter in it (It's supposed to be used for nail painting) and then I created lines with a black polish (again-used for painting nails). I really liked them, but I don't know why, I spoiled them in purpose. I guess this is called OCD? Anyway, now I will try to make them look better!
And you know I'm a HUGE fan of Gossip Girl! I just saw yesterday's episode and I literally couldn't breathe while Chuck and Blair were talking in the end. Not a happy endind yet, but I can say that in the next episode something good is gonna happen!! So, stay tuned!
Oh, almost forgot! I want your opinion on something. My first experience with make up remover lotion was kind of terrifying and awful! Since then, I use wet tissues to remove my make up, and then wash my face, put on cream and so on. But, I'm thinking of trying a lotion sometime and I need your help! Do you use any make up remover lotions? Do you know any good stuff that won't hurt my skin? I have a really, really sensitive skin and almost anything can make me scratch myself, or it makes my body mad and it reacts with pimples! So, if you have in mind any good lotions, let me know!

NOTD and brushes stuff!

Hello lovelies, how are you?
I'm really good as my week has started good too!
I ordered a pair of boots a few weeks ago and they arrived today! Yayy! Unfortunately, because of a problem I will be able to get them tomorrow! I can't wait!
Anyway, on a previous post I told you about a brown nail polish I bought. And yesterday I tried it on and I'm really pleased with it!

It's a cheap polish (I think around 1-2€, or $1-3), so I'm happy to see it is that good! The colour is just like it seems to be in the bottle and it gives it after only one coat (inside light, no flash). I think brown nails are a must for the fall and winter!
Back to the title, I want to tell you a tip on how to clean and store your make up brushes. I saw it on youtube ( on one of Michelle's Phan video ) and I wanted to share with you guys.
To begin with, it's very important to clean your brushes, and especially your concealer brushes. Put some dish washing liquid and olive oil in a dish. Take one brush, put it in the dish and do circles in the liquid so it will go all the way through the brush. Then put the brush on your hand and move it back and forth to make sure it will go everywhere. Wash the brush, place it in a glass and wait for it to dry. Make sure you put it there with the brush down, so the water and the dirt won't go upper in the brush to stay on it or destroy the glue of the brush. You can find brushes guard that protect your brushes while they dry and keep their shape. You can find them *here*
When I shared this idea, many people suggested to use baby shampoo instead of dish washing liquid and olive oil.
So, how is your week so far?
How do you clean your brushes?
Do you have any useful tips and tricks?

My homemade nail polish!

Hello world, how are you?
Once I was in my uni, I saw a girl with gray nails. I was staring at them until I asked her what nail polish it was. As I was expecting, it was Essie. And after googling it, I think this one:

Essie Gray

I tried to buy it, but I went to Hondos Center and couldn't find it. All the similar colours were not affordable (I don't like to pay a lot for a nail polish) and the affordable ones had glitter in it or they were too shiny. So, I decided to create the colour myself. And I loved the result!
All the things I used were already in my house:

  • White nail polish
  • Black nail polish
  • Nail polish remover
  • Empty bottle

First of all, I cleaned a half-empty bottle of nail polish by putting in it the remover and shaking it. I have to admit, it was kind of difficult. After cleaning it, I put inside again remover (just a little) and then added the white and black polishes. I mixed them, trying to create the right colour. And this is what I made:

I really loved it. This is how it looks on the nail after two coats. (inside light without flash)

Now, after two days, it's not that gray, it's a little darker, something between dark blue-green and gray. It's still amazing.
How is your day?
What do you think about it lovelies?
Have you ever mixed nail polishes to create your own colour?
Lots of kisses!
