Face Candy Couture eyeshadows! Review!

Its been a couple of months since I ordered and received these eyeshadows, and still haven't reviewed them, mostly because it didn't happen to wear them, so that I have a complete opinion about them. But yesterday, I tried them on and decided to make a post, featuring Face Candy Couture.
Face Candy Couture is an online store where you can get many unique, natural eyeshadows that combine great quality and the most important: they are affordable as hell. Most of their eyeshadows, which you can check *here* cost about $5, and you can also take advantage of some good deals: 3 for $10, 8 for $20 and so on. FCC and Shantle Shipp are also kind enough to let you try their products: they are offering 5 (!) free sample eyeshadows. All you have to do is send an email and let her know you are interested. You can do that *here* . When I decided to ask for some samples, I could choose which eyeshadows they would send me. But as I see on their website now, they will send you some products of their choice, which is fine, as the eyeshadows are really stunning! The package arrived quickly and Shantle was sweet to communicate and polite.
So, I ordered 5 eyeshadows: Damask Grey, Fall, Chill, Pinecone, Seed.
Damask Grey is a grey/silver eyeshadow, shimmery and shiny. It's really pigmented and I don't think there is a big fallout. I didn't have the chance to have it on my eyes for many hours, but the eyeshadow seems steady. [FCC says it's "a sexy grey with silver shimmer"].

Fall has a really interesting color: brown, with dark purple and copper undertones. This is what it looks like to me. Again, shiny and pigmented! [FCC described it as "brown with deep burgundy and copper undertones"].

Chill seems to me a very dark blue with some brown undertones, shimmery and pigmented enough. I really liked this one, as I enjoy it when I can't explain what the exact color is. [FCC described it as a "midnight sea with shimmer".]

Pinecone is a simple brown (ha! that was easy :P) color with a bit of shimmer inside. Out of these 5 eyeshadows, I think it's the only one that wasn't that pigmented. Maybe I just didn't work with it very well, so I have to give it another shot. [FCC says it's "a perfect brown coco pinecone color"].

Last but not least, Seed is a bright yellow, with mustard/gold/orange undertones. Extremely shiny and pigmented, perfect for summer and intense nights or days out. This colour seems to have consumed the whole sun! [FCC says it's "mustard yellowish color with an orange undertone"].

And this is how all of them look like: (from the left to the right: Damask Grey, Fall, Chill, Pinecone, Seed)

I know this one is blurry, but I wanted you to see the shiny part of these eyeshadows!
All 5 eyeshadows are very easy to work with, very pigmented (my only doubts go to Pinecone), shimmery (Damask Grey and Seed are ultra shimmery!). Face Candy Couture also encourages us to use this natural cosmetics not only on our eyes, but also on cheeks, lips and nails. I haven't used them this way yet (also, I think gray and brown would not be good on cheeks haha), but there are some colors, like Romantique, Pink Lemonade, Glitz that could ne used as blushes. Still, too shimmery for a blush.

How do you feel about these eyeshadows?
Are you going to give them a shot?

ELF review: Earth and Water Mascara Duo

Hello lovelies!
How you doin'? (aka Joey Tribbiani)
Exams are over and we have already started our new courses. I am at least 3-4 hours at uni, and on Tuesdays, I have a 10h class! I hope you can understand that I try my best to update my blog, but sometimes I am not able to function when I come home..
I know I am a pretty bad person: going back on my blog, I realised I didn't include my elf mascara review. I know I didn't review this product immediately because I wanted to give it a shot, but until recently, I totally forgot about this one! And so, I decided to try it out and let you know..
I ordered this one from e.l.f. uk for £1.50/ €1.79/ $2.44.
Let's start with the packaging: This duo mascara comes in a classic, black and white tube, that has two different kind of mascaras on: Regular and Waterproof. It's small and handy, nothing special, but nothing bad about it as well.
The brush is thick, with short "hair" that goes round the brush. Not the classic way of hair that pop out of the brush holder. I guess this is a nice way to give length to your lashes, and as I can see, it really gives length and colour. However, I find the formula really sticky and it doesn't seem to seperate my lashes well, like my other mascaras. To be honest, the mascara can seperate them, but the formula destroys it! The amount that the brush can hold is too much and this is the reason it doesn't give the best result as it always flakes! It's a bad thing, and it's not easy to fix it. I only have one solution to this: Remove the mascara and start from the beginning. And this is not good when you are in a hurry or you don't want to ruin your make up.
In addition to that, I remember that the first time I wore this mascara, it didn't last that long. Soon, I had some
indications of panda eyes. And I was not wrong. As soon as I got home, I saw that the mascara had already started smudging, after only a couple of hours. And when I tried to remove this using a cleansing wipe, oh, that was a terrible thought. It just went all around my eye, making me look like I got punched. You know, you are supposed to remove the mascara off of your eyelashes, not of your whole eye. Yesterday I wore this mascara again, and I have to admit that after three hours it was still in its place. But, it was, once again, difficult to remove.
And the thing is that both the regular and the waterproof mascara have these effects. The only difference between these two, is that the regular gives more colour.

I wouldn't recommend this mascara to you, I really think you can pay some more bucks and get what you want. It would be a good last-minute solution though, or you can just have it in your bag in case of emergency!

Pros
*Not tested on animals
*Cheap
*Good package
*Small-it can fit in your smallest bags
*Gives the colour
*Seperating
*Length

Cons
*Smudging
*Flakes
*Not easy to remove
*Sticky

Buy it again? Probably not

As you can see, my "pros" list is bigger than my "cons" list, but in my opinion, these cons are really important and the main reason I don't like this mascara, they really ruin every good thing about it!

ATTENTION

When I received m package, I also tested and reviewed the e.l.f. mineral foundation. My opinion was quite harsh and after many uses, I think it can work. Of course, I still think that it doesn't give good coverage and it's not the best foundation you can own, but I would rebuy it! As I have said, it works well when combined with a good concealer, and it can also work well under the eyes, giving the matte finish.

So, have you ever tried this mascara?
Are you satisfied?
How was your week?

ELF review: Mineral foundation, day 4!

Hello sweeties, how are you? I'm fine and ready to talk to you about the mineral foundation by e.l.f. cosmetics.
I bought this foundation online, for £3.50 (or4.13 or $5.42). It comes in a small, round shaped package and it contains 0.1oz (2.84g), if I am not mistaken. You know the foundation, it has small holes on the first layer so the powder can come out easily. I had a problem trying to find out how that works (haha ok I am clumsy and a beginner, don't judge me!) and after a few hours minutes, I did it! Yay for opening the package!
Images are clickable, for a better view!
I chose the fair shade, as my skin is pretty light and pale sometimes, so anything darker would look too strange and weird on me. At first I used this foundation in a small amount and I applied it with a brush that is good for a blush too. Something like this: (the hair is not flat
And the result was not that good! I didn't see much coverage and actually, I couldn't see any difference on my face. Just a shade of a matte finishing instead of my oily face. Then, one friend suggested me to use a flat brush, and because I don't have any this time, I just used a smaller brush and the difference was not big. The coverage was kind of better, but still not what I expected. However, after some more attempts, I got used to it and when I use a good concealer (my all time favourite: Estee Lauder, review *here*) and e.l.f. mineral foundation, the result is: good coverage, matte finishing and light looking.
However, this product doesn't have good reviews. Most people I see are not satisfied and the shade of the product was not the right one for them, i.e. for the fair one they say it has some orange shades. It works for me though.
All and all, I didn't like this product that much, but after a while I got used to it and found out my personal tricks that work. If you have pimples now and then or freckles, like me, it will not work on its own. That's what I think.

Pros
*Cheap
*Not tested on animals
*Matte finishing
*Adequate content
*Light
*Works when combined with a good concealer

Cons
*Not good coverage
*Many complain about the shades
*Not working well without a concealer
*Not working well on pimples

Buy it again: Probably not!

ELF review: Eyeshadow brush, day 3

Here I am with the eyeshadow brush review, on the 3rd day of me review series.

Hey hey, I looove this brush! I bought it online from e.l.f. for 2, or $3 or £1.5 and I think this is an amazing tool for everyone who is a beginner in the mkae up world, like me!
I think the length of the brush is really functional, it's not too small to make you touch your eyes in order to apply the eyeshadow, but it's not too long either. I hope you can understand the size from the pictures! I also think the handle is good. I'm not very careful with my things, so if it wasn't good, it should be broken by now!
The hair of the brush seems soft to me, no harms or "pain" noticed while using it. Maybe it would be better if the hair was a bit longer, but it works this way too. As a beginner, I can really mess up my make up easily, so a brush like this is perfect. Longer hair would be better for more "specialized" girls that want faster results.
I have also washed the brush a few times and nothing has happened.. No glue was removed, no hair left me waiting, nothing. Everything is in its place, ready to be used again!

Pros
*Good length
*Soft
*Cheap
*Functional

Cons
*Some like it longer
*After search, I saw people saying their brush was not soft.

ELF review All over cover stick, day 2

The second day of my ELF review project, I have the all over cover stick. And here we goo!
I bought this cover stick for about $3 (or 2 euros). I can't say that I am satisfied.
I tried to take pictures of the result but I couldn't really capture any difference.
First of all, it comes in this cute little (and by little, I mean liitle) tube with the rotating bottom that allows you to control how much product will come out. The you can rotate it again to put inside the amount of the product not used. I find this package really nice and useful, the cap is okay and doesn't allow the stick go out or become a mess.
As for the product itself, hm, here comes the problem. I have the apricot baige shade as I have pale skin and the colour is nice. But the texture and the heaviness.. Oh God. I found the cover stick a miss when it comes to this. It is creamy but I find it hard to apply, and I don't think any brushes can help me, as it is seems too sticky to me to make it through your face without swearing. As for the coverage, it doesn't do anything. I have acne now and then, and it doesn't cover the pimples. Actually, I don't expect from a product to cover my pimples itself, because I use powder afterwards, but this one leaves sticky areas and a dry skin on my pimples. So, the powder can do nothing as the area around can only be fixed if I remove the cover stick. And this means that instead of covering pimples, it emphasizes them. I find it good for dark circles though, not a great product, but something you can use in need.
I don't recommend you this product to be your main concealer, but you can try it yourselves. It has really, really mixed reviews, and the negative agree with me. However I know many girls that love this product. It's up to anyone's personal opinion, AND skin!

Pros
*Good for dark circles
*Cheap
*Not tested on animals
*Didn't cause allergies
*Nice package

Cons
*Sticky
*Hard to apply
*"Emphasizing" pimples
*Makes the part of the powder difficult

E.l.f. review: Eyelid Primer, day 1

Hello ladies and gentlemen!
As I told you, today I'm gonna talk about my new eyelid primer from e.l.f..
As I told you, I ordered from e.l.f. about three weeks ago, and considering that they have tons of orders these days, I am really happy that my order arrived after only ten days (including two weekends).
I bought this eyelid primer for £1.50 (or €1.77 or $2.38). I had my doubts as I have never used an eyelid before and it's my first time getting cosmetics online, so I think it was a success. The eyelid is pretty amazing! Well, I know I haven't used any of them before, but I can understand if something is hit or miss. Also, as I saw online, many people seem to agree with me and consider this primer great!
First of all, it comes in a cute little tube (i'm so sorry, I threw awayt the packages and I don't know how much it contains and it's not on the site!). The applicator is really easy to use, thin and not too long. The formula is extremely light and smooth, and I don't have any problems on its use or heaviness. May I mention that my skin is really, really sensitive and almost everything irritates me, (this is the reason I don't buy cosmetics I am not familiar with), but this one didn't make me scratch myself! And this is one hard mission! I only wore it at home to see what happens, and on Saturday I was out for about 7-8 hours and when I got home (in the morning haha) I slept immediately without removing my make up. I was surprised that my eyeshadow was still shining and the eyeliner was in the same place! Too bad I didn't take any photos!
Also, I noticed that the primer is not completely clear and there is a bit of colour in it. But this works for me, as the dark circles sometimes can go up to my eyelid when I'm not sleeping well. So, it's a great base for concealer as well.
All and all, I am really satisfied! I find it a good eyelid primer, especially for its price!
Pros
*Smooth and light
*Long lasting
*Cheap*Not tested on animals
*Tone correcting

 Cons
*Maybe it anoys you the fact that has some colour in

Rate: 4/5
Buy it again? Yes!
Especially for less than 2euros!

Just to explain any questions: I bought these products from el.f. UK, not USA. The products are more expensive here, because of the difference between dollars and pounds and because, as someone told me, elf UK buys the products from elf USA, so they have to make some profit! Anyway, I still think that the prices and the quality are great!

So, what do you think?
Have you tried this?

I am a queen in my bath!

Hellooooo world!
How are you all? I'm so sorry for my current absence but I am really busy these days!
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I told you about my bottle collection and my lovely friend from *Blushing loves* asked me to do a review on my Kings&Queens shower gels, by Korres!
Hm, to be honest I don't really know how to review a shower gel but I will do my best! As I told you, I have the
Emperor Akbar Mango Showergel
and the
Chinese Princess with Jasmine showergel
I've tried recently both of these products and I can say I am really satisfied!
First of all they come in this transparent, round, shaped bottle with the black cap that won't allow any of the content come out. When you open the bottle, you can immediately smell the great scents of these gels, jasmine, mango and so on. The formula is really light and it seems to be good for my dry/normal skin. In the bath you get a lot of suds (which is my main factor to judge a shower gel-I love suds!) while enjoying the exotic scents of the gel, which are not very heavy. I think you can deal with them even if you can't stand strong scents, like me. The result is clean, smooth and refreshed skin and a really good mood!
You can find all the products on their website*here*, such as shower gels, body butters, scrubs, and many more!
What I love about the names of these products is that every name is inspiring as it comes with a little story behind it! For example, as the site mentions about the Jasmine shower gel, there was a princess that had a garden full of jasmine just to make her lover stays with her. (Jasmine is known for awaking sensual thoughts and making love go strong). As for my Mango shower gel, it says that there was an Emperor back to the 16th century that planted over 100,000 mango trees. He still has the record for this action!
Korres products are always made by natural products and are very friendly to the environment. The package is recyclable and none the ingredients cause any allergies.
You can find these products on their website or at any Korres store for 5€ or $7.

So, have you ever tried these gels?
Was this review helpful to you?
What are your plans for this weekend?
Have fun and laugh!

Estee Lauder concealer review

A few months ago, a magazine had this product as well as a mascara which I have already reviewed). It's from Estee Lauder and it's called Double Wear Stay-in-place concealer with SPF 10. It has won the TotalBeauty.com Reader's Choice Beauty Award,Category Nominated: Concealer.
As far as I can talk about this concealer, it's amazing. The sample I use for about three or more months, is still in great quality and I have plenty of it left (19 OZ, 4.7 ml ).

It is great for covering the dark circles around the eyes, red spots or pimples by using just a little of this.
The package is a tube with a flick for easy use! Very good choice and it helps you to apply the quality you want at the exact place you want.

As you can see from the picture, the formula is light and non heavy, and I hope you can see the difference after applying it on my eye.

It can stays on your skin for the whole day without becoming a mess.
The original product costs $20 but it's worth it, trust me You can find it here *here*! There is also a great offer on their site with their whole Double Wear collection just for $25.

Have you ever tried it?

One of my favourite lipsticks is Sweet Kiss lipstick by Bourjois. I bought this
Anyway, I bought Rose corset shade for 14€ ($20) and in a way, it was worth it. First of all, the package is really good. Purple, with silver details, and it comes in a very useful way that it does not allow the lipstick to be damaged. I loved it!
lipstick one year ago, and as usual I lost it! Grr!
The products promises "High intensity colour in just one flick!". And it's true. I bought the pink(?) colour, as you can see on the picture, and I was really satisfied. The colour comes out in one flick indeed! And it stays one for many hours! What I didn't like about this product was that soon, I could feel some granules on it, that were transfered on my lips. And these granules destroyed the colour and the appearance of my lips.
Have you ever tried bourjois lipsticks?
Are you satisfied?
What can I do the next time about the granules?

The pictures are from www.bourjois.com because as I told you, I've lost the lipstick :(

Estee Lauder mascara review

Ohhh hello lovelies, how are y'all? I'm sorry I didn't post the last two days but I am so so so exhausted! Apart from the lack of sleep, some health problems and running to university for their mistakes,on Saturday I worked about 5-6 hours, but on Sunday (drums please) almost 20 hours. I only had a break for one hour, which wasn't really a break. But today I received my payment and it was worth it. I think!
Anyway, today I'm here with a review of the mascara I am using right now. It's by*Estee Lauder* and it's called Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Macara. I got a sample of this mascara from a magazine and my review is based on this.
Let's start with the package. It comes in the classic, round-shaped tube and my sample has enough quantity in it (1 OZ, 2.8ml ). The tube is blue as you can see but on the site it's all gold, however it's the same product. Check it *here*
The brush is thin and not very thick and it has small "hair" between. It's great for applying mascara all over your eye lashes at once, even on your smaller and thinner lashes. The formula is very good and it can easily be removed, even with a wet tissue. It doesn't smudge and it lasts for many many hours (I was wearing it on Sunday and it was fine!)
The product promises daringly full, sensuously curved, all-out seductive lashes and my opinion on this: absolutely true. It gives my lashes length, volume and they seem more curved. And I don't know if it's all me or my high expectations, but I see my lashes stronger and longer after using this product for a few months.
It is kind of expensive-you can buy it online: €19.50 or $27. Greek girls pay attention as I saw on google that here it is sold for €23.50. It's not a huge difference, but it's an already overpriced product.
All and all, I highly recommend this mascara to you, and if you have used it, I would love to know what you think! (Pictures below)
What's your favourite mascara?
How was your weekend and Monday?
Have fun!

The pictures are not about the same eye, but above is what my lashes look without mascara (boo) and below they are after one coat of mascara. I ensure you the result is the same on both of my eyes :P

UPDATE: After a comment from my friend  *Blushing Loves, I have to say I'm sorry for some blurry photos. They are taken from my mobile phone, because I lost the charger of my digital camera. I will try to replace them soon!

Iseree Peeling Gel review and your help -again-!

Good evening (hm, or night, or morning-depends on where you are) lovelies!
How are you? Today I will do a review of my peeling gel by Iseree, which I buy from Lidl. (If you don't know Lidl, you can learn more *here*).
As I have said before, I have a really sensitive and also demanding skin. So, I don't like to change my favourite products. For my face, I use the Iseree peeling gel. It comes in a tube which contains 100mL and it costs no more than 4-5 € (or $5.50-7).
Just like many Iseree beauty products, it comes with Liftan formula, which I don't know what it is and I can't find further information even on internet, but it is promised to younger, cleaner and smoother face skin. I can't talk about the ingredients, as I am not a chemist, and I can only talk about the Vitamin E and Provitamin B5. The vitamin E is good for your skin and protects your cells, while being a great antiocidant. Provitamin B5 is used a lot as humectant, emollient or moisturizer. Meaning, it can do miracles with your skin, as 'it improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin and accelerates and improves healing of epidermall wounds->description provided by wikipedia'.
The gel has white and blue granules, which help you get rid of dead cells and reveal your smooth skin! I use this product many years now and I won't change it soon. Usually, I use it when I have a pimple that won't leave me alone no matter what I do. And when I put my gel on while I have a bath, the pimple clearly starts to disappear.
So, I highly recommend this product to you, too. And even if are not satisfied, you will not cry over your lost money, as it is really cheap!
And for the end, I have one question: What do you think about this watch?

Do you like it?
Would you wear it?
How is your day going so far?
Have fun babies,

H&M scrub quick review-Tottaly satisfied.

I told you the other day about an organic scrub I bought from H&M. And that I was gonna try it and let you know my opinion. Well, my opinion is this: FABULOUS! My skin was so soft and bright. So,let me take it from the start.

The ingredients:
  • Water
  • Apple Juice
  • Cocamidopropyl Betaine
  • Apricot Seed Powder
  • Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate
  • Xanthan Gum
  • Sodium Chloride
  • Citric Acid
  • Sodium Benzoate
  • Potassium Sorbate
  • Benzoic Acid
  • Fragrance
98,5% from natural origin.
10% from Organic Farming

To be honest, I'm not a chemist and I don't know if all these ingredients have something wrong. In a quick search in Google, I saw that they are safe and good for your skin.

I applied it in the shower and it was so nice. After the shower I put on this:

I know it's after sun lotion, but it is the only one that doesn't harm my skin, which is SO sensitive. I bought it from Oriflame last summer. You realise that the combination of the scrub and the lotion was succesful! I was touching my hands all the time!
Don't forget to vote for my poll on the right sidebar!
